Laurel's Dill Cole Slaw

My friend, Laurel, made a batch of this slaw one hot summer day.  It really hit the spot when served with BBQ ribs.  Enjoy

Laurel's Dill Cole Slaw

Dressing:
1 cup mayo
1/4 cup cider vinegar
3 T. sugar
3/4 t. celery seed
3/4 t. kosher salt
1/4 t. pepper

Slaw:
I just buy pre-shredded slaw cabbage at the grocery, but if you want to make your own shred 6 cups green cabbage and 1/2 c shredded carrots.
1/2 cup shredded Granny Smith apple. ( a little more if desired)
1 T. fresh dill  (fresh dill does make a difference, I like dill so I added a little more)

Directions:
Add dressing to slaw mixture.  Toss well. Let mixture combine for about 1 to 2 hours.
