Teriyaki Drumsticks

This can be a main dish or a heavy appetizer.  A real crowd pleaser and EASY.

Teriyaki Drumsticks

Ingredients

3/4 cup soy sauce (I like low sodium)
2 tablespoons sherry, optional
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 Tablespoon sesame seeds

1/2 cup pineapple tidbits

1/2 dried apricots

Optional:  Red pepper flakes to taste.  I used about a tablespoon.  I also added about a table spoon of hot sauce.

15-20 chicken drumsticks
















Directions
  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine all ingredients;add drumsticks. 
  • Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  • Drain and discard marinade. 
  • Place chicken in a single layer on a foil-lined jelly roll sheet. 
  • Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 40-55 minutes or until a thermometer reads 180° and juices run clear.
