Peach Kuchen.

Peach kuchen.              Bake 400 degrees

Step one. 2 C flour
                  4 T sugar
                  1/4 t baking powder
                  1/2 C butter
Mix ingredients cutting butter, press in bottom of spring form pan getting it up the sides as far as possible.

Step two. 12 peach halves
                   1/2 C brown sugar
                   1 t cinnamon
Place halves cut side up over dough. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top.
Bake 15 minutes.

Step three. 2 egg yolks
                     1 cup heavy cream
Mix together and pour over peaches. Bake 30 minutes.

Twelve peach halves is one large can and one small can.

I haven't made this in years but everybody loved it in our Methodist Church in NY. In fact a friend served it for our going away when we moved. It had travelled from one church to another through friends.
