Here is the salad I made for the September luncheon.
Our family loves it for holidays and
ANYTIME!!
Ingredients
1/2 bag Romaine
1/2
head lettuce
1
c. chopped celery
2-4
green onions
One
can mandarin oranges
The original
recipe uses 1/4 c. sugared, sliced almonds but I do not use these since our
family needs to avoid nuts of all kinds.
Dressing
1/2 c. oil
1/4
c. red wine vinegar (or a little less)
1/4
c. sugar
2
TBSP. chopped parsley
Salt
& pepper
Dash tabasco
