Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 medium bananas, very ripe (mashed)
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 t. white vinegar
- Sift flour with soda and salt (set aside)
- Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
- Add eggs and bananas, blend well
- Combine milk and vinegar. (set aside)
- Add dry ingredients to banana mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Blend well after each addition.
- Preheat oven 350 degrees
- Grease bottom of 9x5 loaf pan
- Bake for 60 to 70 minutes. (This is a little tricky the center can be undercooked. Look for cracking on top or insert a toothpick to see if it comes out dry.
