  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 medium bananas, very ripe  (mashed)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 t. white vinegar
Directions
  • Sift flour with soda and salt (set aside)
  • Cream butter.  Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
  • Add eggs and bananas, blend well
  • Combine milk and vinegar. (set aside)
  • Add dry ingredients to banana mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.  Blend well after each addition.
Bake
  • Preheat oven 350 degrees

  • Bake for 60 to 70 minutes.  (This is a little tricky the center can be undercooked.  Look for cracking on top or insert a toothpick to see if it comes out dry.
