Ingredients
- 6 cups potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 3 cups diced cooked ham
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup +1 T. all-purpose flour
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 t. salt (optional)
- 1 t. pepper
- Combine potatoes, ham, and onion ina greased casserole dish and set aside
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk: stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add cheese salt and pepper: stir until the cheese3 melts. Pour over potaato mixture and stir until combined.
- 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until fork tender and bubbly.
