Escalloped Pineapple

Wendy shared this recipe with me over 30 years ago and I have served it with ham for Easter dinner ever since.  Fantastic.!

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 lb. 4 oz cam of crushed pineapple in heavy syrup - drained
5 slices white bread - cubed

Directions
Cream butter and sugar.  Blend in eggs one at a time.  Stir in pineapple, and fold in bread cubes.
Place in a buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole.
Bake at 360 for one hour.
