Percolator Spiced Holiday Punch

This makes your whole house smell like Christmas.  Great for a Holiday open house or New Year's Eve get together.
Note: I just made this punch for the P.E.O. Auction and I think I would put all of the whole spices in a cheese cloth bag.  The cloves floated to the top and clogged the percolator as it was dispensed.

I usually triple this recipe
Pour into bottom of percolator      (triple amounts)
2 1/2 cups pineapple juice                (7 and 1/2 cups)
2 cups cranberry juice                     (6 cups)
1 1/4 cups water                              (3 and 3/4 cups)

 Place in percolator basket  OR you can wrap in cheesecloth and place in a pot and let it all simmer for about an hour.
1 Tablespoon whole cloves               (3 Tablespoons 
1/2 teaspoon whole allspice             (1 and 1/2 teaspoons)
3 sticks cinnamon                           (9 sticks)
1/4 teaspoon salt                             do not increase)
1/2 cup brown sugar                        (1 and 1//2 cups)

Percolate as you would if you were making coffee.
~If you do not have a percolator you can tie the solid ingredients in a cheesecloth bag and place in the pot of liquid. Simmer for 40 minutes. Serve hot.
