Pecan Crispies

 Pecan Crispies

Preheat oven to 350 

1 C. butter, softened 

2 ½ C. brown sugar 

2 large eggs 

2 ½ C. all-purpose flour 

¼ tsp. baking soda  

1 C. chopped pecans 

Candied cherry halves (optional)

Instructions

Line baking sheet with parchment paper Beat butter and brown sugar about 2 minutes Add eggs & mix well.  In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda Stir into the butter mixture Fold in the pecans Spoon 1 ½ inch balls of dough onto the baking sheet Bake until golden – about 15 minutes – Makes about 36 cookies
